New Mac app · Early access
Find anything the way you remember it.
Spool puts your email, messages, files and AI chats on one timeline, so you can find things by when they happened, not where they were saved.

Thanks, that really helps.
Beta. UI may differ. Demo data.
One timeline
Mail, messages, files, Slack and AI chats, merged into a single stream. Nothing to file.
Search by the moment
Look for what was going on around it. “The deck after the pricing review” just works.
Private by design

Questions
Is it recording my screen?
No. Spool reads what’s already on your Mac and in the accounts you connect: mail, calendar, messages, files and AI chats. No screenshots, no screen recording.
Where does my data go?
Your timeline is built and stored on your Mac. Summaries use Apple’s on-device model where it can. Anything that would use a cloud AI model is off until you turn it on, and says so plainly.
How is this different from Spotlight?
Spotlight finds files by name. Spool is a timeline you can browse: it puts email from any provider, Slack, and ChatGPT and Claude chats next to your files and messages, in order, and every person you work with gets a page.
Could someone use it to spy on me?
Spool only indexes your own accounts, on your own Mac, with permissions you grant in macOS and can take back at any time.
What happens if Spool shuts down?
Your timeline lives on your Mac and keeps working. It doesn’t depend on our servers to show you your own history.
What does it cost? What do I need?
It’s free during the beta. You’ll need a Mac: macOS 26 or later · Apple silicon.
